"What is it that makes a piece of lowly clay become a thing of beauty?"

 

"The Chinese philosopher, Lao-tse, expressed it well when he said that pots are made out of clay, but the hollow space in them makes the essence of the pot. And this essence comes from an intangible something in the spirit of the potter which he is able to fuse into the shape of his work..." *

I offer my classes with the intention to bring forth that essence in the work of my students.
